Troubleshooting Chart

Symptoms
Actions (click links for more info)
No video or scrambled video.

Check PAL / NTSC setting on back panel.
Check "Input Select" setting on back panel.

Check cable connections (see User Guide).

Moving objects look blurry. Use "Show Fields" option in Image Wizard.
Cannot insert USB flash drive in front panel. Open the USB connector cover.
Video "freezes" briefly after image capture. Turn off "Preview Mode" on back panel.
USB flash drive does not work in MediCap.
Wrong USB Device message.

Use Only MediCapture brand drives (required)
Clean up (format) the drive.*

USB flash drive does not work in computer.
File Corrupt, Can't Remove Folder messages.
Clean up (format) the drive.*
Internal Memory is Full message. Press Save button then clear internal memory.
USB Memory Not Sufficient message. Move images to computer then delete from drive.
Images Not Saved to USB message. Insert flash drive into front panel & press Save.
Cannot Read USB Flash Drive message. Flash drive may be defective.
Error when Image Wizard starts on computer. Install latest Microsoft Visual Basic files.
Cannot find DICOM options in Image Wizard. Backup to first screen. Select "Doctor".
Some options "grayed out" in Image Wizard. Use DICOM image format.
Unable to open YUV image file. Use Image Wizard to convert to JPG image.
No images on USB flash drive. Press Save button before removing flash drive.

CAUTION: Formatting a flash drive erases ALL files on the drive. Backup all files on the
   drive to your computer before formatting.
