How
To Install
a Player on a Windows Computer The USB200 records video in high-quality MPEG-2 format. This format is most often preferred for medical applications. For various licensing reasons, the media player that comes with your Windows computer, Microsoft Windows Media Player, does not play MPEG-2 videos by default. To play MPEG-2 videos, including your USB200 videos, you can install a free media player, called Media Player Classic. This easy-to-use alternative to Windows Media Player is preferred by many windows users because it will play many more types of video formats than Windows Media Player. Here's how to install Media Player Classic: 1. RIGHT-click on the link below. Download Media Player Classic (2.6MB) 2. A pop-up menu will be displayed. Select "Save Target As" (or "Save Link As" if you are using the Firefox browser). 3. A Save window will be displayed. Browse to the folder where you want to save the file and click the "Save" button. 4. Find MediaPlayerClassicSetup.exe where you downloaded and double-click on it. A simple wizard will help you install the player. 5. After the installation, if you double-click on a video file that you captured with your USB200, then Media Player Classic will play the video. Note that Media Player Classic is a free "open source" program. It is not a MediCapture product.
