How To Install an Add-on to Windows Media Player
That Will Play USB300 Videos

As a service to our customers, MediCapture provides an add-on at no charge that enables Windows Media Player to play H.264 videos (the high definition format used by the USB300). MediCapture has paid the licensing fee for the add-on on your behalf. This add-on is provided to MediCapture USB300 customers only -- use by any other individual or organization is a violation of the licensing agreement.

Installing the Add-on from a CD
Locate the "Windows Media Player Upgrade" CD that was included in your USB300 shipment (if a CD was not included, see the next section). Insert the CD in your Windows computer, locate the Setup file on the CD, and double-click on it. A series of windows will guide you through the installation steps. When finished, restart your computer. Windows Media Player will now be able to play your USB300 videos. You must register the add-on or it will stop working in a few days. registration instructions

If you do not have an installation CD, you can download the installation file. RIGHT-click on the link below.

USB300 HD Add-on for Windows Media Player

A pop-up menu will be displayed. Select "Save Target As" (or if you are using Firefox, select "Save Link As"). A Save window will be displayed. Browse to the folder where you want to save the file and click the "Save" button.

Find HDAddOnForWMP_Setup.exe where you downloaded it. Double-click on it. A series of windows will guide you through the installation steps. When finished, restart your computer.
